In Israel, as opposed too other western democracies, religion and state are highly integrated. This complex integration makes Tzohar’s Public Policy activities of utmost importance.

We have become one of Israel’s most influential NGOs (non profit Israel), driving and shaping public policy, and directly serving to guarantee the Jewish character and future of the State of Israel.

Advocacy

Our successful lobbying work is shaping and driving advocacy and legislation in the Knesset, which ultimately defines the Jewish and social character of the State of Israel as well as the perspectives and actions of individual politicians and lawmakers. Tzohar provides individual politicians and law makers with extensive research on the Jewish and social impact of their votes and decisions. We also promote appointments to various public positions in the Rabbinate and other national institutions.

We have a track record for effectively informing the media and rallying the public to advance our goal of creating an ethical, inclusive and inspiring Jewish Israel.
